I would like to become a part time student in the London area in order to
qualify for a copy of Microsoft Office 2007 Ultimate for Students. I need a
college that will give me an email address with ac.uk address and would
prefer an IT related course.

Can anyone suggest a college. I would prefer an evening course that isn't
too expensive.

Thanks.

You don't want it - crap user interface and very poor interoperability
for general office related documents.

Go for the FREE openoffice.org and fuck Microsoft off completely.

Just this week we've been sent files in the new "we tried to force our
hand to make this an official standard, but now we're facing anti-
trust action because to paid delegates to vote for it" format, and had
to tell the sender to re-send in a usable form.

Search for a local college and phone them. It seems a bit extreme to go on
a course for a copy of software, it might be cheaper to buy a genuine copy.
If you don't want to buy one that needs renewing every 12 months like the
student edition, google for one of many torrent sites and do what everyone
else does.

Or if you have a family member who is at school (any, primary or secondary),
you can get Office Enterprise (more comprehensive than Ultimate) with your
own disc for under £60.

You have to order it in the name of a pupil or his/her parent. You can
install and activate on two PCs (such as desktop and laptop).

Depends what you want. Enterprise doesn't have the accounting bit in
it, whereas it does have communcator. Enterprice has a lasser version
of OUtlook, it has bog standard outlook, but Ultimate has outlook with
the contact manager built in.

And to say within the licenceing it cannot be given away, it has to be
used by student or parent. If your going to go to that you may as
well jsut [pirate it, weitherway you have no legit licence.

If you or your partner works for the NHS you can get Office 2007 for £17 (or
around that) but you would already know that.
You need an nhs email address to order it.

It's Microsoft's compensation package offered for NHS staff faced with
sorting out the aftermath trauma caused by the patients unfortunate use
of Microsoft products.

Crack MS Coke for everyone - that will get everyone sorted (not) ...
