Does anyone have the make and / or model number of the tiny DVD players
Asda were doing back in November for about £30 to £40 ??

I remeber the boxes were green , came with a remote and could play MP3's
had a scart and video and audio outs on the back.

I actually bought one back then and took it with me abroad cos we have a
holiday home there but the folks decided to sell the holiday home so I
sold it to someone out there thinking I'd save the hassle of carrying it
back and get one when I returned but Asda no longer do them.

They were tiny about the size of an A5 sheet of paper and an inch or so
thick

Philips do a small DVD player DVP323. About £50 + P&P from Ebuyer - doubt
you'll find it cheaper. Might be worthwhile getting a dvd player with a 3.5
inch screen at that price. I think some of them have video out so you should
be able to run through a normal TV.

Asda were selling small DVD players this week.

My sister got one last year (before the huge stock was snatched up).
It cost her £29.95 last year and they're now selling them for £19.97.

Not sure what the brand name is but it's the only really small set-top
DVD player I've ever seen (slightly bigger thatn A5 sized).

Does it load from the Top and Play MP3's?
I think Durabrand is the same one I was thinking of... excellent little
DVD playerand the remote worked from a huge distance and really wide
angle... I wish they'd make a nice little DivX / Xvid Player that small
for my Bedroom!

I'll have to go to Asda and check it out
